Cooks and Dishwashers

We are seeking a Cooks And Dishwashers to join our dedicated kitchen staff! You will assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals in our professional kitchen.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare all served food on the menu
• Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours
• Memorize, record, and comprehend menu items, abbreviations, and portions
• Follow standard recipes and special diet orders 
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, pans and appliances

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in cooking, culinary arts, or other related fields is a plus
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work well in teams

Uptown BBQ has been in business for over 32 years serving thousands of customers quality BBQ & Soul Food, we are looking for promising candidates to work in our establishment. Our objective is to open two more establishments this year and we are looking for new team members for our flagship and the additional locations.
