Chief's is a six-story bar, restaurant, and live music venue designed to celebrate Eric Church's ever-expanding musical legacy. Located in historic downtown Nashville, Chief's will feature a ticketed music venue, inspirational interiors, and a thoughtful focus on unique live performances, offering fans an unparalleled entertainment experience in Music City. Chief's will house a studio for live broadcasting, inclusive of Church's Outsiders Radio SiriusXM channel, with the capability of hosting broadcasts by various media partners. Chief's will also feature a restaurant partnership with James Beard Award Winning Pitmaster Rodney Scott. Rodney Scott's Whole Hog BBQ will overlook downtown with its 'Hell of a Q' rooftop offering. Situated at the intersection of 2nd Avenue and Broadway, Chief's is set to open at 200 Broadway.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Bartender duties are to focus on interaction with guests, co-workers, and the leadership team, to drive memorable experiences and ensure responsible alcohol sales at all times. Duties also include knowledge of all liquor, wine, and beer served in the venue and ensuring that knowledge can elevate the guest experience while maximizing beverage sales. Bartenders at all times are to set an example of hospitality and service while assuming full responsibility for day-to-day bar service, maintenance, cleanliness and organization.
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
· Maximize sales by recommending items and upselling, using extensive working knowledge of all food and beverage offerings
· Use extensive menu knowledge to communicate effectively with guests on ingredients, preparation methods, and allergens
· Follow all Steps of Service and brand standards
· Create a hospitable, welcoming, and memorable experience for all guests
· Ensure all Federal, State and City laws and ordinances are followed with regards to the handling and responsible sale of alcoholic beverages
· Proper handling of cash, credit cards and end of shift financial reporting
· Serve all alcohol in proper containers and adhere to all pricing
· Serve all food in proper containers and adhere to all pricing
· Attend trainings as mandated by the Leadership team
· Maintain a well-groomed, professional, and polished appearance
· Keep working knowledge of Chief's brand, history, culture, and programming
· Navigate venue conditions, including tight spaces, dark rooms, and loud environment
· Ensure all spaces are set according to plans
· Maintain daily inventories behind all bars at both the beginning and end of shift
· Maintain an organized and clean workspace
· Ensure that work areas are properly supplied for operational success
· Maintain positive guest engagement and create memorable experiences
· Take initiative, follow-through on requests until completion, and utilize a keen attention to detail
· Perform other related duties as assigned by the Leadership team
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
· Prior bartending experience in high-volume, fast paced restaurant or similar environment preferred
· Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, results- oriented, restaurant/bar/venue environment
· Extensive knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails
· Exceptional guest service and hospitality skills
· Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and work ethic
· Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work both as a team and independently
· Ability to take direction, and communicate effectively and professionally
· Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Ability to perform physical requirements of position including standing for extended periods of time, kneeling, stooping, using stairs, able to lift loads of up to 50 lbs.
· Able to work rapidly, especially during peak periods to ensure that all guests are being serviced properly and necessary operational tasks are being completed in a timely manner
· Ability to sustain loud noise volume
