Position Summary:
Adecco is recruiting for an Administrative Assistant for a client in Syracuse, NY (Solvay area). This position is temp-to-hire, paying $21-24/hour.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a small manufacturing company in a key office support role. The successful candidate will assist with administrative, purchasing, invoicing, and day-to-day business operations while working closely with company leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Support day-to-day office operations and administrative activities
Assist with invoicing, payment tracking, recordkeeping, and document management
Support purchasing activities and vendor communications
Prepare documents, reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence
Maintain organized electronic and paper records
Utilize Sage and Microsoft Office applications to support business operations
Help maintain a professional and organized office environment
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
HS diploma or GED, AS or BS/BA preferred
Previous experience in an administrative, office support, purchasing, customer service, bookkeeping, or similar business support role
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel
Experience with ERP, accounting, project management, or business software preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to learn new processes and work independently
Strong attention to detail and follow-through

Pay Details: $21.00 to $24.00 per hour
