Position Summary:
Adecco is recruiting for an Administrative Assistant for a client in Syracuse, NY (Solvay area). This position is temp-to-hire, paying $21-24/hour.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a small manufacturing company in a key office support role. The successful candidate will assist with administrative, purchasing, invoicing, and day-to-day business operations while working closely with company leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support day-to-day office operations and administrative activities
  • Assist with invoicing, payment tracking, recordkeeping, and document management
  • Support purchasing activities and vendor communications
  • Prepare documents, reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence
  • Maintain organized electronic and paper records
  • Utilize Sage and Microsoft Office applications to support business operations
  • Help maintain a professional and organized office environment
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • HS diploma or GED, AS or BS/BA preferred
  • Previous experience in an administrative, office support, purchasing, customer service, bookkeeping, or similar business support role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Experience with ERP, accounting, project management, or business software preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to learn new processes and work independently
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through

Pay Details: $21.00 to $24.00 per hour
