SALARY: $25-$30/hr. DOE

LOCATION: Portland, OR

SCHEDULE: Part-time; Monday-Friday | 20-30 hrs/wk.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Executive Chef and culinary leadership team, managing calendars, appointments, meetings, travel arrangements, and correspondence.

  • Coordinate departmental operations by maintaining inventory records, processing supply orders, organizing documentation, and serving as a liaison between culinary operations and other departments.

  • Support financial and reporting functions through expense tracking, budget administration, and the preparation and maintenance of spreadsheets, reports, and organizational records.

  • Plan and coordinate meetings, special projects, and internal events while ensuring efficient communication and administrative workflow across the department.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Minimum of 2 years of administrative support experience, preferably in hospitality, events, or other fast-paced service-oriented environments.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word, with the ability to create, maintain, and manage reports, schedules, and administrative documentation.

  • Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize competing responsibilities effectively.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, combined with a professional, proactive, and customer-service-focused approach to working independently and collaboratively.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This role requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, and move between office, kitchen, and event spaces throughout the workday. The position also requires occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds and the ability to operate standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and printers.
