Responsibilities Phase 1: Requirements Gathering & Tool Selection Facilitate structured requirements sessions across IT, clinical operations, finance, strategy, PMO, and executive leadership Translate business, clinical, and operational needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements Define evaluation criteria and guide assessment of SPPM platforms aligned to governance and regulatory considerations Lead vendor demos, scoring, and final selection process Advise on migration strategy, sequencing risks, and preservation of historical data Phase 2: Implementation, Migration & Enablement Lead configuration and deployment of the selected SPPM platform Build a strategic initiative management framework providing visibility into progress, timelines, risks, and barriers Oversee data migration and validation of legacy project and portfolio data Guide integrations with enterprise systems where appropriate Develop and deliver training, onboarding, and adoption strategies Establish governance alignment and sustainable operating model Direct and coordinate supporting Project Managers to meet September 2026 deadline Requirements Proven experience leading enterprise SPPM tool selection and end-to-end implementation Demonstrated success migrating from Microsoft Project Online or similar legacy platforms Strong executive facilitation skills with credibility at Senior VP and leadership levels Experience in large, matrixed, regulated environments (healthcare strongly preferred) Expertise in portfolio governance, change management, and enterprise adoption Ability to operate under accelerated timelines and deliver large-scale deployments by fixed deadlines Polished communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills SPPM Implementation Project Manager Job Duration: 9+ months Remote Role Client is seeking a highly experienced consultant to lead the selection and implementation of a new enterprise Strategic Portfolio and Project Management (SPPM) tool.
