The Capital Projects and Construction Manager also supervises assigned staff, including inspection or field personnel, and supports the development of asset management practices that improve long-term infrastructure planning, maintenance, and investment decisions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / FUNCTIONS
· Supports the development, maintenance, and implementation of the Town’s Public Works Capital Improvement Program, including multi-year project planning, forecasting, prioritization, funding considerations, and project scheduling. This position helps translate long-range infrastructure needs into actionable projects by supporting capital planning, project scoping, budgeting, scheduling, construction coordination, and project closeout.
This role serves as a key connection point between engineering, public works operations, contractors, consultants, developers, utility providers, partner agencies, and the public.
