Prior experience leading proposal efforts for contracts valued $75M+ and IDIQ/GWACs over $250M; Strong strategic-thinking and problem-solving skills (identify, analyze, research, evaluate, resolve); Demonstrated experience in proposal writing in response to all solicitation sections (e.g., Management, Technical, Staffing); Ability to create original content using interview and research techniques; Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), SharePoint, and Adobe CS; 8-10+ years of related experience including 5+ years of experience Federal government proposal management, volume lead, support, and/or writing experience; Successful track record of leading development of high-quality, high-scoring proposals; Excellent organizational and communications skills (written, verbal, client service); Understanding of, and experience with, the Federal procurement process and regulations (e.g., FAR); Ability to work to meet deadlines (nights, weekends, and holidays possible); Ability to manage geographically disparate teams and travel for specific opportunities, as required (less than 10%). As a critical member of BV's opportunity pursuit teams, you will work closely with assigned capture managers, cost leads, and technical SMEs to provide leadership for pre- and post-RFP proposal development activities which include but are not limited to, strategy development, facilitation, compliance, writing, resource identification and oversight, production and submission of final proposals, and process improvement efforts based on lessons learned.
