This role may involve designing and implementing environmental compliance programs and providing guidance on regulatory requirements to minimize environmental risks as well as developing plans and procedures for managing air, water, and waste; Develop multimedia permit applications, negotiate permit conditions, and help develop strategies to comply with permit conditions; Project management, including planning and implementing investigation and remediation projects, budgeting and budget management, adherence to schedule, quality, client satisfaction, and profitability; Support clients with environmental aspects of transactions, reporting, litigation, and other business decisions; Project management and oversight of technical issues/work products; budgeting and budget management; adherence to schedule, quality, health, and safety protocols; client satisfaction; and profitability; Recruiting, managing, and mentoring junior staff and mid-career engineers and scientists; Reviewing and leading the preparation of technical documents, drawings, specifications, and proposals; Preparing for and participating in meetings with clients, regulatory personnel, and other parties; and. This position is well-suited for a talented, experienced individual who is interested in leading innovative and challenging projects, including the financial and technical evaluation, design, permitting, and construction stages of environmental projects and multimedia compliance programs.
