p>You Will: • Provide guidance and supervision to Kitchen Production Assistants, ensure fair distribution of work and ensure proper scheduling is done • Supervise the Sushi production processes • Provide training to Kitchen Production Assistants and provide feedback on staff performance • Participate in new product research and development process, encourage innovations • Manage product food safety and ensure FIFO is strictly practiced within the department • Familiar with product ordering, its process and execution • Control produc quality, inventory level and wastage • Produce the correct quantity of assigned products based on orders received • Responsible for the cleanliness, hygiene, equipment and tools maintenance follow up and workplace safety of the production area.
Reporting to the Head Cook (or his/her delegate), the Sushi Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Head Cook in providing guidance, supervision and sets as a good example for Kitchen Production Assistants to follow.
