As a Hearing Care Coordinator, you will: ⢠Greet patients with a positive and professional attitude ⢠Place outbound calls to current and former patients for the purpose of scheduling follow-up hearing tests and consultations and weekly evaluations for the clinic ⢠Collect patient intake forms and maintain patient files/notes ⢠Schedule/Confirm patient appointments ⢠Complete benefit checks and authorization for each patients insurance ⢠Provide first level support to patients, answer questions, check patients in/out, and collect and process payments ⢠Process repairs under the direct supervision of a licensed Hearing Care Professional ⢠Prepare bank deposits and submit daily reports to finance ⢠General sales knowledge for accessories and any patient support ⢠Process patient orders, receive all orders and verify pick up, input information into system ⢠Clean and maintain equipment and instruments ⢠Submit equipment and facility requests ⢠General office duties, including cleaning ⢠Manage inventory, order/monitor stock, and submit supply orders as needed ⢠Assist with event planning and logistics for at least 1 community outreach event per month. Skills/Abilities: ⢠Professional verbal and written communication ⢠Strong relationship building skills with patients, physicians, clinical staff ⢠Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook ⢠Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ⢠EMR/EHR experience a plus.
