As a Hearing Care Coordinator, you will: • Greet patients with a positive and professional attitude • Place outbound calls to current and former patients for the purpose of scheduling follow-up hearing tests and consultations and weekly evaluations for the clinic • Collect patient intake forms and maintain patient files/notes • Schedule/Confirm patient appointments • Complete benefit checks and authorization for each patients insurance • Provide first level support to patients, answer questions, check patients in/out, and collect and process payments • Process repairs under the direct supervision of a licensed Hearing Care Professional • Prepare bank deposits and submit daily reports to finance • General sales knowledge for accessories and any patient support • Process patient orders, receive all orders and verify pick up, input information into system • Clean and maintain equipment and instruments • Submit equipment and facility requests • General office duties, including cleaning • Manage inventory, order/monitor stock, and submit supply orders as needed • Assist with event planning and logistics for at least 1 community outreach event per month. Skills/Abilities: • Professional verbal and written communication • Strong relationship building skills with patients, physicians, clinical staff • Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations • EMR/EHR experience a plus.
