Bag-valve-mask ventilation with basic airway adjuncts (oropharyngeal airway, nasopharyngeal airway), endotracheal intubation (oral, nasal, rapid sequence induction), cricothyroidotomy (needle and/or surgical), Alternative Airway Management (I-Gel), Bougie utilization, and Ventilator Support/ Ventilator Management utilizing CPAP, NIV, ASV, PSIMV, PCV, APV, APVsimv as well as troubleshooting ventilator alarms. Performs initial and ongoing quarterly intubation competencies under direction of the medical director, educators, and clinical manager to demonstrate proficiency with the following airway management skills (basic and advanced) for adult, pediatrics, and neonates.
