The Account Specialist II, Insurance Follow-Up & Denials Management will primarily be responsible for performing duties such as; reimbursement analysis; provides the Manager, Insurance Follow-Up & Denials Management review, research, and resolution of claim denials with experience submitting appeals to various insurance companies while identifying payment trends in an effort to maximize collection; strong understanding of payer websites and appeal process by all payers including commercial and government payers including Tricare, Medicare, Medicaid, and Medicaid Managed care plans ; monitors active accounts receivable for identification of potential problems; strong research and analytical skills; must be a critical thinker ; communicates effectively with patients, practice managers, physicians and others regarding collection of outstanding claims; maintains proper documentation and edits of work performed; and at all times maintains a professional demeanor to assure that patients are treated in an appropriate and compassionate manner.
