ā¢ Bachelorās degree preferred
ā¢ Activity certification from an approved course, as required by the State of Texas, preferred
ā¢ One or more years of experience working with older adults in group activities preferred
ā¢ Working knowledge of activities programming for older adults preferred
ā¢ Experience working in memory care preferred
ā¢ Ability to lead therapeutic activities for residents with varying levels of need
ā¢ Ability to organize, document, and implement activity programs
ā¢ Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and a positive approach to resident engagement

ā¢ Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
ā¢ Ability to understand and comply with applicable state and federal regulations related to activities programming
