Interview, hire, orient, counsel, discipline, and discharge any maintenance personnel: conduct and/ or participate in orientation and in-service programs: make rounds of the facility daily to complete task as listed on the TELs check list, observe maintenance problems: review work orders: schedule any other maintenance personnel: make up supply orders and maintain necessary inventory: receive all supps, check, enter vendor/ supplier invoices int the Accounting system: meet with Safety Committee, Water Management Committee, Disaster Committee, and any other committees as requested: attend morning meeting and weekly Department Head meetings. Physical and Sensory Requirements (With or Without the aid of Mechanical Devices): Walking, sitting, standing, ability to read and write in English, ability to communicate with residents, families, personnel and support agencies, ability to evaluate and interpret information and make independent decisions and ability to remain calm under stress.
