p>Licenses, Certifications, and Other Requirements: • Valid and current drivers license • Possession of a Class IV Idaho Wastewater Treatment Operator license; or the ability to obtain within six months of appointment, with a minimum of a Class III license at the time of hire • Must be able to comply with annual continuing education requirements for license renewal • Must be able to work after hours, weekends, and holidays; and may participate in an on-call rotation to respond to emergencies • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug testing to include prescription drugs.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Associates or bachelors degree in environmental science, engineering, chemical or biological sciences, public or business administration, or related field • Seven years of related experience including three years of supervisory experiences in a large wastewater treatment facility.
