Working in close collaboration with the Director of Developmental Education, faculty, and The Accessibility Office, the Learning Specialist contributes to a coordinated, student-centered approach that connects instruction, academic support, and student engagement to improve outcomes and progression into and through college-level coursework. Grounded in evidence-based learning science and inclusive instructional practices, the Learning Specialist delivers structured support that helps students strengthen academic skills, develop effective learning strategies, and build independence as learners.
