A day in the life of a Safety Specialist at Bio-Rad requires computer proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to schedule appointments, answer emails, attend meetings, analyze data, draft programs, etc. and time away from the desk documenting inspections, attending face-to-face meetings, conducting drills, delivering in-person training, and overseeing hazardous waste shipments. Under the leadership of the Northern California EHS Manager, this position will be responsible for: Coordination of occupational safety programs related to LOTO, ergonomics, fall protection, confined space entry, respiratory protection, hazard communication and chemical management.
