Collaborate with the Store Manager to ensure smooth daily operations, delivering exceptional client experiences while driving sales and profitability in a fast-paced environment. . This role requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, bend/stretch to stock shelves, stand and walk the sales floor for the entire shift, and work in a fragrance-filled environment.
Performs daily cleaning, scrubbing, and hosing down of tank walls, wet wells, channels, and weirs; Uses portable pumps to vacuum effluent tank; Drains and cleans clarifiers, aeration tanks, digesters, centrifuge, chlorine contact tanks and wet wells; Operates tractor type mowers to mow lawns; Services, installs, and removes mower cutters and adjusts cutting units; Trims and sprays herbicide on grasses and weeds along walks, driveways, buildings and planted areas; Trims and prunes trees, shrubs, and hedges; Sprays plants, flowers, or other infested areas with insecticides; Removes grit barrels from compactor site and loads onto trucks; Operates truck to deliver to and empties barrels at appropriate destination, replacing barrels; Assists operators in operation of plant equipment such as dewatering units, Dissolved Air Floatation(DAF), screen press, grit removers, etc. Opens and closes valves as instructed by operators; Takes samples, performs simple chemical tests including but not limited to pH, DO, temperature, settleable solids, SS, TSS, VSS, BOD, chlorine residual; Interprets laboratory results; Performs general housekeeping work at treatment plant and pumping station such as sweeping and mopping of floors, wiping down of equipment, etc.
