Deputy Sheriff-Jailer Full-Time Position Pay Range: $28.04/hour - $35.84/hour POSITION SUMMARY: The Deputy Sheriff-Jailer is a sworn deputy position assigned to the Jail Division. The individual performs such duties to include but not be limited to:  book and take fingerprints and photographs of persons brought to the jail, supervise inmates, keep written and computerized records, and serve as court security as needed. This is a generalist position that emphasizes the application of incarceration methods and procedures as they apply to a county jail when ap­propriate and necessary, while performing general jailer duties.
