Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our MEP Engineering team. In this role, you will lead the design and coordination of complex electrical systems for a diverse portfolio of projects, including healthcare, laboratories, commercial, institutional, educational, and transportation facilities. The ideal candidate has a strong background in building systems design, is comfortable managing multiple projects, and can collaborate effectively with clients and multidisciplinary engineering teams. This is not a product design role.

What I'm Looking For:


  • Lead the design of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, lighting controls, emergency power, switchgear, fire alarm, and other low-voltage systems
  • Develop engineering calculations, equipment selections, technical specifications, design reports, and construction documents
  • Prepare and review AutoCAD and Revit drawings for accuracy and quality
  • Coordinate with architects, owners, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout all phases of design
  • Conduct site investigations and evaluate existing electrical systems
  • Provide construction administration support, including field observations, responding to RFIs, and reviewing submittals
  • Mentor junior engineers and designers while providing technical guidance
  • Participate in client meetings and help develop practical engineering solutions that meet project objectives
  • Manage multiple projects while maintaining quality, budget, and schedule expectations


What's Required


  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 7+ years of experience designing electrical systems for commercial, healthcare, institutional, or similar facilities
  • Strong experience with power distribution, lighting, emergency power, and building electrical systems
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD
  • Experience with Revit preferred
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project coordination skills
  • Experience with LEED projects, Navisworks, or SKM software is a plus
