Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, and legal skills • Ability to work in high-pressure situations • Ability to negotiate effectively in complex legal matters • Experience and Qualifications: • 6-7 years of experience as a lawyer in a law firm, business, or government, focused on corporate, real estate, development and contract work • A background in corporate, real estate, and finance work is preferred • Attorney license in good standing and admission to the bar in at least one state • Possess strong business acumen and integrate legal and business objectives • Ability to exercise sound legal and business judgement and ability to influence at varying levels of the organization • Experience with senior living and/or the hospitality industries preferred. • Provide advice and counsel on a broad range of legal matters, including real estate transactions and development matters, purchase and sale agreements, letters of intent, title/survey diligence oversight, financings, senior living management contracts, joint venture agreements, and other related contracts, drafting and negotiating other transactional and general contracts, and providing general corporate advice and assistance.
