Performs general grounds maintenance outdoors, year-round in all types of weather conditions; duties include but not limited to mowing grass, edging, trimming and blowing walkways and other paved areas, removing weeds, overgrown vegetation, raking, installing landscape materials, mulching beds, removal/trims trees, pruning trees and shrubbery, watering turf and plants, removing trash and debris; applying pesticides and herbicides, fertilizing turf and plants. Performs custodial maintenance of recreational facilities, grounds and buildings: to include restroom maintenance, trash disposal, restocking supplies, cleaning floors, monitor building security by performing such tasks as unlocking/locking doors after/before operating hours.
