p>• Operate medium and heavy equipment including backhoes, loaders, skid steers, dump trucks, compressors, saws, and related tools • Perform excavation, backfilling, surface restoration, and job site clean-up • Assist in maintenance and repair of water, sewer, storm drain, and fiber optic infrastructure • Locate underground utilities and support safe excavation practices • Support hydrant maintenance, system connections, and leak detection • Respond to emergency and non-emergency service calls • Use mapping, mobile software, and work order systems to document and track work • Maintain equipment and report mechanical or operational issues • Follow all safety procedures and attend required safety and technical training. • Valid driver's license • CDL with tank vehicle and air brake endorsements • Operator I: Ability to obtain within one year of hire • Operator II: Must possess at time of hire • Class 2 Wastewater Collection and Water Distribution certifications (or ability to obtain) • Confined Space and Flagger certifications (or ability to obtain) • First Aid, CPR, and AED certification (or ability to obtain).
