Attends safety training which involves local law enforcement and/or University of Utah Health Safety and Security, as well as required training around situational awareness, risk assessments for both the patient and others, and appropriate response to potential on scene weapons or illegal substances. This position is partnered with and works under the on-scene supervision of a master's level mental health clinician (Certified Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor, or Clinical Mental Health Counselor).

Mobile Crisis Certified Peer Specialist

Through a coordinated and integrated team that includes case managers, a peer support specialist, and a therapist, the program supports youth ages 1824 in maintaining stable housing and working toward goals related to mental and physical health, education and employment, life skills development, and community connection. The Permanent Supportive Housing Case Manager provides consistent, individualized, and trauma-informed case management services to youth and young adult households who have transitioned out of homelessness and are living in housing throughout Salt Lake County.
