p>Initiate and guide student doctor/patient interaction and assist in transition to clinical practice In the case of the community practices, aid in the continual review of student rosters In the case of clinical practices, arrive prior to clinical start, provide guidance and direction in care of patients by monitoring student performance, treatment planning, and progress Model and advise students on professionalism and patient management techniques Assist in solving patient related problems Assist the CPL in the review within their clinical practice, each student''s performance related to: - Quality and quantity of clinical care.
Reporting directly to the Clinical Practice Leader (CPL) at the Touro College of Dental Medicine''s clinic in Albuquerque New Mexico, with a dotted line to the Director of Clinical Education, and the Executive Assistant Dean of Clinical Affairs, clinical faculty are responsible for direct patient care and mentoring/teaching students.
