Responsibilities: Review permit application documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with submission requirements Support applicants in preparing and filing documents with New York City agencies Deliver and track documents submitted to city agencies for review, approval, and data entry Coordinate with plan examiners and agency representatives regarding code compliance and document requirements Research property and building records across city databases and agency systems Monitor permit status and assist in resolving issues that may delay approvals Maintain organized records of permit submissions and agency communications Perform related administrative and technical support tasks as required Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or GED required Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction document processing, permitting, zoning compliance, or related work Strong understanding of NYC permitting processes and agency coordination preferred Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple filings and deadlines simultaneously Detail-oriented with strong administrative and follow-through skills Expected salary range is $55,000 – $75,000 annually.
