This role will partner closely with the Senior Director of Marketing to bring to life high-impact events and activations across the Complex universe, including pop-ups, ComplexCon, Family Style Festival, and Market, while driving cultural relevance and audience growth. IRL Marketing Expertise: Proven experience in event and activation marketing, creating high-impact brand experiences that drive viral engagement and translate into cohesive 360° consumer storytelling.
Highly organized and process-oriented; Ability to multi-task, remain calm in high-pressure situations, and work in a moving environment (with teams constantly growing up); Self-motivated, resourceful, and directed, requiring minimal supervision; Good timekeeping and work ethic that is characterized by commitment, motivation, and energy; Natural leadership; Good communication, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills; Creative thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving; Flexibility and positive attitude to work long days, evenings, weekends and holidays when necessary; Presently resides and/or is willing to relocate to Los Angeles, California. Required Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Sports Management, Event Management or a related field, or equivalent experience required; Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hospitality operations; Experience in managing hospitality operations in Stadium and Temporary Structure environments; Prior experience with large-scale (sports) events, a plus; Speaks and writes fluent business English; other languages encouraged (French and Spanish mainly); Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite; Knowledge of SharePoint | Smartsheet | Microsoft Teams | Zoom | Air Table.

Identify qualifying business potential, closing business, overcoming objections, negotiating, upselling and understanding the client's needs through Features-Adjectives-Benefits selling Manage business on the books successfully and work pipeline of Inquiries, Prospects, Tentative and Definite bookings Work local Key Influencers including Hotels, Convention & Visitor Bureaus, Chambers, Retail Outlets, Office Buildings and Condo/Apartment buildings Conduct client visits that are targeted and meaningful to build private dining sales Qualifications At least 3 years previous sales experience in an upscale /fine dining restaurant or hotel operation Ability to write business correspondences and set up contracts and function sheets Ability to professionally present promotional materials to prospective customers, and to effectively communicate and coordinate with catering, kitchen staff, and outside vendors Ability to calculate figures and amounts for guest catering contracts Ability to communicate with guests and employees using a positive and clear speaking voice, listen to and understand request, respond with appropriate actions and provide accurate information Stable and progressive work history; Strong work ethic EOE #LI-AW1 Pay Range USD $72,000.00 - USD $75,000.00 /Yr.
