Assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts/components and/or electrical/electronic systems to make sub-assemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and miscellaneous equipment. Installs, modifies, moves, troubleshoots, repairs, overhauls, and dismantles machinery and equipment according to established documentation (e.g., SOPs), layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches, or other drawings.

p>In this role, you will be primarily responsible for performing a variety of yard work and equipment delivery related duties while maintaining a high level of consideration for safety and operational compliance.

What You Bring:

The ideal Biomedical Equipment Technician 3 should have:

• Preferably 7-10 years of experience in electronic, mechanical or electro-mechanical repair in a health care technology setting.
• Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and illustrated parts drawings of biomedical instrumentation and skill in testing electronic equipment as well as in manual dexterity, hand-to-eye coordination, and color vision.

strong>Education and Experience:

• Typically requires High school, Trade school, or Military and 10 plus years related experience or AA and 5-year related experience or BS and 5 years related experience.
• Performs scheduled and unscheduled equipment maintenance on lyophilizers, liquid fillers, labeling machines, packaging machines, water system equipment and filtration.
