li>Assist with a mix of biological natural resource related field and office tasks (including but not limited to construction inspection reports, wetland delineation reports, health and safety plans, environmental permitting, proposals, budget preparation, hand harvesting of invasive aquatic species, water quality sampling, Phase 1 ESA, wildlife monitoring, etc.) and assure each assignment follows the project scope, schedule, and budget. The position will entail short-term and long-term field assignments primarily in New England but also New York State; therefore, the candidate must be willing and physically able to travel and work outdoors in rough and remote terrain under challenging environmental and weather conditions carrying all necessary gear (backpack, soil auger, GPS unit, wetland flagging, etc.); and have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
