Prepare detailed project estimates for automation and controls systems Review drawings, electrical schematics, P&IDs, and project specifications Collaborate with Engineering to confirm system architecture, programming scope, and commissioning requirements Coordinate vendor and subcontractor pricing Conduct margin analysis, risk assessments, and contingency planning Develop formal proposals including scope of work, assumptions, exclusions, timelines, and commercial terms Track revisions and maintain documentation in CRM/ERP systems Support Sales during technical discussions and customer meetings Participate in project turnover meetings to ensure smooth transition to Project Management Support Product Management initiatives related to automation and controls offerings. Strong knowledge of industrial automation and control systems Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, cost modeling, and scenario analysis Ability to perform cost modeling, margin analysis, and identify financial impacts Ability to identify scope gaps and assess technical risk in project bids Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent bids Clear and effective technical writing skills for proposal development Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Engineering, and Operations, to support successful project outcomes.
