Skills and general experience: Must have a proven track record of creative problem solving, a solid portfolio of successful products, have a solid understanding of stress/strain calculations, finite element analysis, the ability to analyze and select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes, create CAD models of parts and assemblies, create technical drawings including appropriate geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, build rough prototypes, and must possess an in-depth working knowledge of the sports of climbing, skiing, mountaineering and all other activities for which we design products. Authorized and responsible to continuously improve upon and perform all duties according to BD Inc's Quality, Safety and Employee Policies and procedures: Create in-line and new designs for the largest and most complex projects at Black Diamond.
