PCB Design Engineer

Ensure that all requirements for manufacturing and assemblyare met. Develop and generate drawings and documentation to facilitate PCB fabrication and assembly. Rework PCB designs when engineering design changes occur and assist the design team with ideas to resolve issues. Perform drawing and documentation updates per the instructions of engineering change requests. Create component ECAD library footprints andor schematic symbols as required for design projects.This is a 12 Month full-time Contract or Contract to hire opportunity.What Were Looking For Bachelors Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience or graduate Degree and a minimum 2 years of prior related experience In lieu of a degree minimum of 8 years of prior related experience Multiple years of experience in PCB design or equivalent combination of education training andor experience in PCB design.Preferred Additional Skills Competent skills and experience with ECAD software applications and related equipment. Specific experience with Siemens formerly Mentor Graphics Xpedition software is desired. Competent experience and knowledge of PCB design technologies PCB layout techniques electrical schematics PCB fabrication and assembly drawings is desired. Practical knowledge of industry standards such as IPC for design including design for manufacturability and ASMEANSI for documentation is desired. Specific relevant IPC standards include IPC-2221 IPC-2222 IPC-6012 IPC-A-600 and IPC-A-610.
