p>Working Conditions/Physical Demands: • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit, stand, stoop, kneel, bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and make coordinated movements of the fingers for using a keyboard • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for product testing and tradeshow purposes • Combination of general office and machine shop environment • May require ground travel to other company facilities within local metropolitan area • Long-distance or air travel as needed - not to exceed 10% travel.
Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in consumer driven product design • Experience in Project Management • DFMEA and FEA experience • Experience with SolidWorks • Sheet metal experience • Plastic design experience • Aluminum extrusion knowledge • Electrical or controls experience • Experience working with multiple disciplines, including electrical and mechanical design, layout, manufacturing, external suppliers and service providers • UL, TUV and/or CE experience • Experience with MS Project timelines • Experience with SAP.
