In coordination with the Relationship Managers prepare the narrative portion of the Credit Memo, Ensure that all loan files presented to Loan Committee have been properly reviewed and prepared and are pre-approved prior to presentation by the Credit Administrator and/or the Chief Credit Officer. Maintain current working knowledge of commercial lending industry, which, may include the following: Independently research and analyze company and industry data, including state, local and federal publications, and newspapers.
The Senior Credit Analyst is responsible for gathering and analyzing credit information on current and potential borrowers; determines the advisability of granting credit for diversified types of asset classes; assists Relationship and Managers as well as Regional Directors in writing loan request narratives and ongoing portfolio maintenance to include, but not limited to, covenant compliance monitoring. The Senior Credit Analyst will independently interact with clients and prospects to perform all due diligence necessary to extend credit, write up a credit submission, communicate with regional credit authorities and is equipped to present the merits of a credit request in presentation format for the purposes of obtaining credit approval.

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; managing and appraising performance; coaching and development; addressing complaints and resolving problems. In collaboration with the relationship manager and underwriters, identify risks/mitigants of loan structure and participates in discussions with credit risk as required.
