Key Responsibilities:Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledgerPrepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsDevelop, monitor, and analyze budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metricsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulationsPartner with leadership to provide financial analysis and actionable business insightsPerform cost accounting and margin analysis, including raw materials, labor, and overheadImplement and improve financial systems, processes, and internal controlsManage cash flow, banking relationships, and financing activitiesOversee tax filings, audits, and regulatory compliance requirementsEstablish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assetsCoordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agenciesLead, mentor, and develop a small accounting/finance teamCollaborate cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and quality teams to align financial and production goalsPerform other related duties as assignedQualifications:Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldStrong knowledge of cost accounting and financial reportingExperience in manufacturing, nutraceuticals, food, or pharmaceutical industries strongly preferredProficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)Advanced Microsoft Excel skillsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilitiesAbility to work in a dynamic, hands-on environmentPay DOE $70K -$90K KPG123 This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage core accounting functions, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic financial insights to support business decisions.
