This position also applies expert knowledge of relevant statutes, regulations and policies, including the North Carolina State Construction Manual, the North Carolina Community College System (NCCCS) Capital Improvement Guide, the Guilford Technical Community College Construction Manual and all referenced governing documents, to ensure compliance, mitigate regulatory risks and avoid project delays. This position engages regularly with senior internal and external stakeholders, including College Vice Presidents, Deans, Directors and State Construction Office (SCO) leadership, to facilitate alignment, influence decision-making and lead resolution of complex, high-risk issues that significantly impact core college operations.
