p>What You're Good At: • Knowledge of industrial control systems • Welding and fabrication skills related to the modification of existing equipment • Intermediate experience with PLC's, VFD's and computers • Ability to work with automation, production, and computer systems • Exceptional attention to detail • Ability to read and utilize mechanical and electrical drawings/diagrams • Effective communication skills to convey necessary information to fellow technicians, line operators, the Automation Team, managers, and plant leadership • Ability to work both independently and within a team setting, including communication with various other Departments via radio, phone, and in-person conversations.
What You Have:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required • Associates degree preferred • 5+ years experience in maintenance of a manufacturing environment preferred, experience with automated production equipment a plus • Experience in installation and maintenance of various implements, such as pumps, bearings, pulleys, belts, chains, gearboxes, bushings, etc.
