Job Summary: Sets up and operates computer numerical control (CNC) vertical and horizontal 5-Axis machining centers to perform machine functions such as surfacing, profiling, boring, facing, and threading parts of metallic workpieces such as castings, weldments, forgings, plates, blocks, and tubing by performing the following duties: Essential Functions: Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).Programs 5-Axis CNC machines with Mastercam.
