The Corporate Counsel will have a strong background in the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction and/or manufacturing delivery, and installation of complex tools and equipment, including labor compliance, public works, contract drafting and negotiations, claim advice, strategies for contract administration and dispute resolution, union agreements, plus have strong communication skills and work ethic; be willing to grow and be challenged; work ethically, professionally and with integrity; be passionate about the core business of construction; and be willing to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Work with the department leaders to provide corporate leadership with legal guidance on a wide variety of matters related to the AEC or manufacturing industry, including without limitation: contract interpretation, design-build, contract disputes, subcontractor and supplier issues, government contracts & compliance, litigation, bankruptcy, insurance coverage and claims, bond claims, liens, and employment.
