Comprehensive knowledge of mental health services and comprehensive school social work programs;
Comprehensive knowledge of Restorative and Trauma Aware/Informed practices;
Considerable knowledge of current local, state, national, and global trends in school social work;
Considerable knowledge of program evaluation to support continuous improvement;
Considerable knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Google Apps;
Effective time management and organizational skills;
Effective crisis response skills; strategic problem-solving skills;
Effective strategic planning skills and experience supporting system-level improvement;
Understanding of the legal limitations providing mental health services and confidentiality in schools;
Skills in creating and managing effective presentations, including the capability to use relevant technology;
Ability to facilitate effective meetings;
Ability and commitment to implement best practice service delivery and provide successful leadership (interns, practicum students, externs);
Ability to support a collaborative working environment (i.e., coaching, active listening, etc.);

Hold or be qualified to hold a North Carolina Professional Educatorās License for School Social Work;
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW);
Must hold and maintain a valid motor vehicle operatorās license according to the State of North Carolina requirements.
