Nurses in the Nebraska Medicine - Bellevue Emergency Department work collaboratively in a fast paced environment with board-certified emergency medicine physicians and other health care professionals dedicated to providing quality, compassionate emergency care. Bellevue Medicine Center Emergency Services is a community health care facility with the third busiest Emergency Room in the metro area serving over 31,000 patients annually.
Position Summary: The Resident Assistant, reporting directly to the Director of Nursing, supports residents in maintaining their dignity, independence, and overall quality of life by providing personal care assistance, companionship, and encouragement in daily activities. Demonstrated proficiency in common digital tools and applications, including Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word), web-based platforms, electronic health record systems, and any HR-related systems as applicable.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire required, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later). The CNA/Medical Assistant will be responsible for providing quality care within a collaborative environment, assisting in daily clinic operations, and performing additional tasks within scope of practice.
