Oversees all aspects of the strength and conditioning programs for men's and women's basketball; Work in consultation with the head strength & conditioning coach to prepare, schedule and supervise the programs; Instruct student-athletes in the proper and safe techniques of weight training; Design and implement testing programs and sport-specific exercise prescriptions; Maintain records and database for strength and conditioning programs for student-athletes; Interface with the athletics training staff to coordinate injury rehabilitation and treatment schedules; Assist the head strength & conditioning coach on supervision and maintenance of the weight room; Maintain confidentiality of information (including but not limited to: student and employee personal information, student grades, etc.), both during and after their employment with the University. Under general supervision, the Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach/Basketball will serve the university's intercollegiate athletic men's and women's basketball teams working closely with the head strength & conditioning coach, men's basketball head coach, and women's basketball head coach to prepare, schedule and supervise year-round strength and conditioning programs.
