Monitors and assesses quality within service lines through use of total quality management, outcomes monitoring and patient satisfaction indicators; develops expectations for customer service and educates and measures managers on outcomes of service; serves as a liaison between physicians and service line administration to ensure positive patient outcomes and experiences; incorporates rounding into regular activities; leads interdisciplinary teams to identify and improve patient care processes.
