ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but not limited to: Patient Relations: Prepares patients for providers, including greeting patients, patients check in and check out, questioning patients as to problems, recording chief complaint on chart, getting vital signs and other lab work as indicated, preparing patients for individual treatment rooms and appropriate examinations. Safety/Infection Control Activities: Ensure an appropriate environment for the delivery of healthcare by assisting in general with maintenance and housekeeping, i.e., maintaining equipment, locking, and securing areas, maintaining work areas in a clean, safe, and orderly fashion.
