Assistant Facility Medical Director Responsibilities
Support the facility medical director in overseeing clinical operations
Foster a culture of quality, safety, and patient-centered care
Assist with clinician onboarding, mentoring, and engagement
Participate in quality improvement and performance initiatives
Collaborate with hospital administration and clinical stakeholders
Help drive departmental goals and operational excellence
Promote evidence-based clinical practice and patient satisfaction
Serve as a physician leader and role model within the department
Qualifications
Board certified or board eligible in EM (ABEM/AOBEM)
Current or eligible South Carolina medical license
Prior leadership experience preferred, but not required
Strong communication, collaboration, and team-building skills
Passion for quality patient care and physician leadership
