Physical Effort: The work requires moderate to heavy physical effort involved in such activities as frequently lifting trays and loading dishwashers, scouring and scrubbing large-size cooking utensils and pushing heavy carts and trucks in unloading, storing and delivering supplies, constant standing or walking, lifting items weighing as much as 40 pounds, and frequently lifting items weighing over 40 pounds with assistance from other workers of the same or higher grade level. I have the ability to perform common Food Service Worker tasks to include: 1) assisting in preparing simple foods such as: making sandwiches, cutting vegetables, assembling and tossing fresh fruits or salads, measuring and weighing ingredients, and brewing coffee and tea; and 2) operating basic kitchen equipment such as choppers, can openers, deep fryers, meat slicers, tilt grills, ovens and/or hand tools for preparation of food.
