Create, release, confirm, expedite, and manage purchase orders, purchase change orders, RFQs, and supplier commitments for assigned commodities, including PWBAs, bare boards, machined parts, transducers, RTDs, connectors, electronics, wire, consumables, sensors, hardware, gaskets, plugs, and outside processing. The Buyer/Planner works closely with Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, Configuration Management, Stockroom, Production, Finance, and external suppliers to ensure material availability, cost effectiveness, schedule alignment, and compliance with customer requirements.
