Somero Enterprises is a multinational, innovative company looking to fill a Purchasing Buyer/Planner location in Houghton, MI.

Our Purchasing team works diligently to procure components necessary to support production, prototype builds and Customer Support. The Purchasing Buyer/Planner also participates in negotiating the best possible component pricing, ensuring competitive lead time-time arrangements, assists in resolving supplier quality and delivery issues and strives for reduced inventory levels.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and multi-tasking skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues with limited supervision. Candidates must have the ability to work with a sense of urgency under tight time deadlines with frequently changing priorities.
